We have to remember that caloric consumption is not equal to burning fat. In the initial phase of the exercise, caloric consumption is by Glycogen but not fat. Now I will tell you if some of the small house exercise can lose weight.
1, Mental vs Caloric Consumption
Reading or playing chess, mental work, can do a little more caloric consumption. But simply sit-in or sleep, caloric consumption per minute would be very low. If you sit motionless, but in mental work, you can consume 1-2 calories per minute. But do not think that it's a lot of calories, you intake thousands of calories everyday.
Mental can only make you fatigue, but play minor role in weight loss.
2, House work vs Caloric Consumption
Housework can make your home look very clean and tidy, but can they help to lose weight? Cleaning the house or yard can consume more than two or three calories daily. The effect of weight loss is very weak. But the house clean, you will be happy, and recieve appreciation from family members and friends, that's great enough.
3, Walking vs Caloric Consumption?
Walking is one of the lose weight methods taken by a lot of people. It is one of the most simple methods of weight loss, it's not subject to restrictions by the time and place, suitable for the elderly and overweight people. Only by constant walking, you will be able to lose 55% of the fat. Practice has proved that walking by fastest speed has better weight loss effect than jogging. The disadvantage is that walking takes time, you have to use about twice the running time to achieve the same results. But do not stop at the stage of walking, if you want to get thin more quickly, jump or run.
4, Anaerobic exercise vs Lose weight
Anaerobic exercise, that is, do not rely on oxygen to burn fat for the exercise, such as weight lifting. Even it's easy for you, we do not recommend these for you to lose weight. Want to lose weight? Then do more aerobic exercise.
In anaerobic exercise, muscle practise high-speed exercise in the "hypoxia" state, oxygen intake is very low. Racing, weight lifting, throwing, high jump, long jump, tug-of-war, all belongs to the anaerobic exercise.
So what is aerobic exercise? To put it simple, aerobic exercise is those exercise which last for longer time, mild exercise, the body's glycogen and fat have enough time to be "burned" by oxygen, such as cycling, jogging, walking, and so on.
